The Nordic-Baltic Textile Circularity Forum exhibition showcases products, materials, prototypes and digital tools that bring textile circularity into practice. Featuring tExtended results alongside solutions from companies, designers, social enterprises and researchers, it explores reuse, upcycling, sorting, recycling and circular business models.
Explore the practical results of tExtended through materials and products that show how textiles can be recycled, remade and used again. Supporting the Forum’s focus on turning evidence into action, this exhibition follows the journey from discarded textiles to new applications in clothing, home textiles, automotive interiors and insulation.
Discover garments developed by PurFi, CITEVE and TALLY WEiJL, alongside recycled polyester pellets, yarns and garments from RISE and recycled-content towels and yarns from Têxteis J.F. Almeida. Centexbel illustrates the steps of textile-to-textile recycling, while AIMPLAS, ERT Têxtil Portugal and SOPREMA demonstrate how recovered materials can become synthetic leather, automotive components and insulation.
Remanufacturing is also in focus: LSJH presents examples featuring Rolf Ekroth, Ervin Latimer and Jalovilla, showing different ways to give used textiles and leftover fabrics a new purpose. A workwear example from Rester, Utexbel and Lindström shows recovered fibres returning to a new garment.
Discover further approaches to textile circularity, from traceability and alternative materials to creative reuse and inclusive employment.
Cyclothe presents its Smart Bag for textile collection and traceability, while Protex Balti and VTT, through TexMat, demonstrate digital product passport integration in textile samples. KIUD Technologies showcases reusable packaging and other products made from textile offcuts, and Aalto University’s TexFoam explores foam materials made from discarded textiles. National Textile University and Interloop present yarns made from banana, sisal, flax and hemp fibres.
CIRKA, Bourzma and PARTAPIS explore recycled materials and creative upcycling in fashion, while Dirbinyčia and Everyone Can demonstrate how textile reuse can create useful everyday products and support social enterprise.
Together, the exhibits bring the Forum programme into a practical setting, connecting discussions on recycling, digital tools and circular business models with physical examples. Explore the samples during Exhibition Focus Time and continue the conversation at the Speakers’ Corners.
